"Fluid". The space gradually descends to a flat surface forming a slope, showing fluidity in movement.
The pillar is of brick to register transition of space, i.e, from Steinway and Son's to Revival Cycle. "Luminous" material is used for steps to contrast the dull colour of the bricks.
"Rigid" material is used to prevent possible collapse on those giant structures.
Week 2, Stairs
The upper ground has been given impression of the leather seats that bikes have, surfaces are irregular and distorted in shape as a leather has its texture laid. Below ground the lustrous effect of pianos signify grandness. Its smooth, shiny surfaces show regularity.
Here I go with cantilever stairs again making them look like they are keys to be pressed. A grand descend is given to access below workshop. As for above workshop, a longer and difficult approach must be taken to get the chance to view awesome motorbikes!
Stairs again
Stairs added to existing sketchup model to approach showrooms. To access Revival Cycle showroom, a person has to take a stroll from the very first "room" to get to the end as the access is provided at the left most. At the right corner, vehicles can be mounted and passageway links to all the three blocks. Middle block can be used to provide services as it extends to give working space.
