Fluid Texture form Light(above) to dark (bottom) have been used to indicate the frequency and probability of ocean water hitting the surface closer to the ground more often with rigorous waves or storms.

Airy Texture used for part of Rectilinear structure. The higher one goes above the ground, closer to the sky, the thinner air becomes, i.e, less dense and drop in pressure. Hence the texture lightens and becomes less dense with progressive levels above.

Stippling texture used to represent each floor experiencing amount of rain drops. Levels that have been sheltered by monumental structures, would receive little rain drops compared to grounds that are not.

Making of Monument

Version 1

Concept 1 Goldberg:

  • Separate components integrated together to give the structure a sense of rhythm and curvilinear form. Replication of elements and varying scales.
Concept 2 Gang:
Outcome Concept:
Separate components help create levels of stepping stones, one on top of another, to reach high above the ground, closer to the sky.

Parallel projections

Concept 1, Goldberg:
  • Goldberg thoroughly believed to design a "city with a city" that could fully accommodate people's everyday needs and activities.
Concept 2, Gang:
    The sky is the limit.

Concept 1, Goldberg:
  • Landmarks transcend time, however the immortality of monuments is an obstacle in front of scientific progress - meeting the needs of the science of today.
Concept 2, Gang:
  • pioneer; the aqua tower and is the tallest building in the world to have a woman as lead architect
